Checklist
Before you submit.
Review the previous case archive before preparing a new submission.
Choose cases that are educational, interesting, and discussion-worthy.
Case acceptance is based on the discretion of the section editor.
Keep the first slide concise with case history, authors, department, and institution.
Use one to two slides for grouped images without annotations, followed by a separate slide with annotations.
Close with final diagnosis, a short up-to-date discussion, and two to three references.
Expect a reply within about two weeks if additional details or images are required.
Presentation Format
Recommended slide structure.
1. Clinical summary
One slide with a short and relevant case history or description, along with authors, department, and institution.
2. Imaging slides
One to two slides with the relevant images grouped together, without annotations or arrows.
3. Annotated slide
One slide showing the same key findings with appropriate annotations.
4. Diagnosis and discussion
One to two slides with the final diagnosis, a brief up-to-date discussion, and two to three references. Marked images may be included here if needed.
